How to Get a Job on the Corner

For those of you who are living close to the corner, like to waitress, and needs some extra buck-os, here's some advice on how to best find a job there!!

"The best way to find a job on the corner is to be referred to management by a friend or to go in and just flat our have a talk when the manager is in the building. All of the places on the corner are looking for people that are personable and friendly, but also have the time to work shifts, so if you go in and sell your story its pretty easy to get a job as a server as long as you have experience with some sort of job that requires interactions with people."

I would say in my experience that the restaurants definitely go through hiring cycles, so they may tell you to come back in a few weeks or months or the next semester. Key take-aways: apply early, keep coming back!

A few Aphis that work the corner are: Kasey Knoell, Mel Belardi, Haley McGlauflin, Casey Schulman
